Adi Parashakti

Adi Parashakti is a concept that is primordial energy or a primordial power, namely, in Hinduism, the Supreme Goddess or Divine Mother. Adi Shakti was likewise also named 'Parama Shakti,' 'Adi Shakti,' 'Mahashakti,' 'Aadhya Shakti,' 'Satyam Shakti' or simply 'Shakti.' Shaktas considers Adi Parashakti to be the Supreme divine mother, who manifests as Saraswati, Parvati, and Lakshmi the Tridevi (Three goddesses) of the Hindu religion. The Shakta-Shaivism treats Parvati as its primary form; whereas the practices of Vaishnavism regard it as Lakshmi or Radha.

"First Ultimate Authority" means "Adi Parashakti." ādi implies "beginning," literally. Shakti is a force outside of the material realm; the term "Shakti" is derived from the origin of śak which means " to be able". Adi Shakti was never called "Adi Shakti" except for Shakta Puranas. Scriptures like Devi Bhagavata Purana, four Vedas speak of dark energies that, along with time, dissolves the entire world. Many researchers equate the Adi shakti principle with the new science and technology revelations of Dark Matter, Void Energy, and Zero Energy. As indicated by the Shiva Purana, Adi Parashakti embodied in materialistic structure as Parama Prakriti from Lord Shiva's left half, i.e., the Parabrahman Paramshiva, at the arrangement of the formation of the Universe. According to the Linga Purana, Adi Shakti puts forward the evolution of life in all Universes by the unification among all Parvati and Shiva. Skanda and Markandeya Puranas speak of Parvati as the supreme mother of all creation and the truest material aspect of Adi Shakti.

According to the Devi Gita, before becoming Parvathi, she appeared to King Himalaya and showed spiritual, everlasting wisdom to him. In the words of the Vedas, she described herself as having no beginning or end. She is the one and only eternal reality. She is the creator of the whole cosmos.

She is the ultimate victor and the very embodiment of triumph. She is a divinity that is embodied, unmanifested, and ineffable. Satyaloka was in her forehead; the formed world was in her hairs; the sun and moon were in her eyes; the four directions were in her ears; the Vedas were her words; death, love, and emotion were in her teeth; and Maya was manifested by her smile. The world is formed by the goddess Parvati as Kushmanda in the shape of a cosmic egg, which appears as the universe. Finally, Adi Shakti is the null energy that remains even after the world is destroyed and before it is formed.

As per the Devi Bhagavata Purana, Shiva meditated on Adi Parashakti for millennia, utilizing the Beeja mantra "Hreem." She at that point showed one of her Shaktis as Sidhidaatri from Lord Shiva's left half before him. Adi Parashakti is additionally worshipped as both the totally preeminent soul without structure (Param Atman) and Saguna with structure. In her Saguna form, she is identified as the Mother of the Universe, and she resides above all other Paralokas in Sarvaloka Manidweepa. The Devi Gita from the Mahabhagawata Purana, states that she is the Great Goddess, and her separate manifestations are all the other goddesses, and also all the gods.

Trimurti and the demigods praise Adi Shakti in Devi Mahatmyam as:

Shrishti Sthiti Vinasham Shakti Bhute Sanatane
Guna Shaye (Devoid of all attributes i.e. Nirgun) Gana maye (Having all the attributes) Narayani Namaustute

This translates to:

We bow to the main female (Narayani), The endless energy who makes, supports, and obliterates every one of the components for example Tattva and the person who is really the incomparable soul (Nirgun) at the time who embodies every one of the attributes for Generation, Observation, and Destruction.

The fourth chapter of Srimad Devi Bhagwat Purana's first novel. Devi addressed Trimurti in the following manner: "I am Adi Parashakti. This world belongs to me. I am the Ultimate Truth. In feminine form, I am dynamic; in masculine form, I am static. Through my powers, you appear to rule the universe. You are the masculine form of Absolute Truth, and I am its feminine form. I am beyond form, beyond all, and I contain all of God's energies. You should be aware that I am the Everlasting infinite force."

She then said, "Brahma!" " You will be the maker of the world, and your associate will be the Goddess Sharada (Saraswati), who will be known as the goddess of insight and the first tone. This goddess will be with you as you build the world.

She went on, "Lord Narayana (Vishnu)!" You have no construction, however, you come to fruition. I nominate you to be the universe's preserver. You will take on many incarnations in order to rescue the beings of this world. Narayana, Narayana! You created Lord Brahma, and Brahma would make thirty-three different forms of gods and goddesses. I am the goddess Mahamaya, and I have awakened from your enchanted slumber. Lakshmi, the goddess of abundance, will be your consort. This goddess will be with you while you rule/maintain the world, Lord Vishnu. When evolution happens, you will come in the form of Vishnu, the one tasked with witnessing and maintaining the universe.

Finally, she said, "Oh Lord Rudra Shiva, the Great God, you are the manifestation of time, which is beyond all." You will be charged with killing and regenerating this planet. When you are formless, time ceases. It is because of my influence that you have been dynamic and capable of causing the death and rebirth of this world. Mahakali is my ultimate version, and by meditation, you can transcend all of my forms. Then, in my embodied shape, I can incarnate from your left half. This will be my most truly embodied form. Lord Shiva, she will be your consort and will fulfill the duty of killing evil.

Devi Parvati is the goddess's full physical manifestation. In her former life, Parvati was Sati. Sati was a direct incarnation of Adi Parashakti as well. Sati, on the other hand, died and was reborn as Parvati. Parvati is portrayed as a benevolent and caring mother goddess. She could manifest herself as Kali, Durga, Chandi, and other deities. The supreme deity, according to Shakta's beliefs, is Lalita Tripura Sundari. Lalita Tripurasundari is armed with a sugarcane bow, flower arrows, a noose, and a goad. She ascended from Manidweepa above this Brahmanda to annihilate Bhandasura. Sri Chakra is a pictorial representation of her residence. This Brahmanda's subordinates are Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, and they cannot function without her power. As the closest representative of Adi Parashakti, she is thus regarded as the supreme Goddess and primary deity in Shaktism. Whatever god one worships, they are ultimately worshipping Adi Parashakti.

She took different incarnations over time in order to preserve Dharma. According to the highest order of yogis, she is the force that exists in the Kundalini in the form of Amba; she is 31/2 coil in height, and when the Kundalini is lifted from the sacrum bone of any human being by a highly realized soul whose kundalini is also awakened, she rises from the backbone of the human, opening all chakras Mooladhara, Swadisthana, Manipura, Anahata.

The kundalini flows into the middle channel of the three nadis, Ida (left channel-Tamo guna), Pingala (right channel-Rajo Guna), and Sushumna (central channel-Sattva guna), balancing the left and right channels.

Kali is the Goddess Adi Para Shakti's third aspect. She is the goddess of strength, spiritual fulfillment, time, and she presides over the universe's destruction. She is the source of mankind's redemption. Shaktas regard her as Parvati's incarnation and the consort of Shiva's incarnation Mahakala. She aided Lord Maha Vishnu in defeating the demons Madhu and Kaitabha. She is also responsible for the deaths of Shumbha and Nishumbha in the form of Kaushiki, who are icons of ignorance. According to Durga Saptashati, she is also the same as Yogmaya, Tamsi Devi, and Chandi Devi. She is dressed in red or black and rules over the Tamas Guna.

According to Shaktas, it is believed that everybody worships her, either implicitly or outright. When someone devotes his or her attention to the good facets of life, he or she is worshipping her. Shaktas hypothesize that because she is pure light when one learns how to lift his/her inner energy and balance that energy for everyday work, they are ultimately worshipping her. People worship their personal gods/Gods according to their faith, light candles and lamps at home, do good work for humanity, and much more to balance Energy for day-to-day living. Each of these tasks either energizes them or serves as means of inspiration for them.

Most yogis, such as Swami Vivekananda, suggest that meditation is the perfect way to avoid mental contaminants, claiming that Holy meditation can help to burn away all mental contaminants and that knowing one's own energies is the best way to reverence Holy Mother. While core Shakta believers believe in Adi Shakti's direct worship through Dhyan, meditation, and Samadhi, Tantra, Sri chakra, and conventional deity worship. When worshipping her through yoga, Samadhi, or Tantra, one needs a strong guru who is familiar with all of the rules and customs. When one doesn't have the right one, so by singing her praises one can still worship her.

The Devi Bhagavata Purana, Kalika Purana, Markandeya Purana-Devi Mahatmya, Brahmanda Purana-Lalita Sahasranama, and Tripura Rahasya all describe Adi Parashakti's presence. The goddess once welcomed the Trimurti to Manidvipa, according to the Devi Bhagavata Purana. The Trimurti saw the ruling deity seated on a jeweled throne. Her skin radiated with the light of millions of stars, and her heavenly appearance was so stunning that the Trimurti was unable to look at her. She is holding the Surya mudra, the pasha, the Ankush, and the lotus.

Adi Shakti is considered the only being capable of commanding all nine planets. She separates herself into Physical Shakti, Durga, who breaks herself to work nine planets to preserve celestial order, Vidya Shakti, or Kali, as the basis for Lord Vishnu's ten incarnations, and Maya Shakti, who deludes the beings to delusion and also promotes the humans to Supreme Lord.

Yoga Maya

Adi Parashakti is the one who creates Maya for gods and instructs them on what to do and what not to do in order for them to be related to the supreme Deity. She aided Lord Vishnu in defeating the demons Madhu and Kaitabha in order to save the earth. She is also the one who brings Lord Vishnu to sleep, hence the name Yog Nindra of Lord Narayana. It is necessary for yogis, sages, and bhaktas in order for them to be related to God. Shaivas regard her as a manifestation of the mother Parvati, while Vaishnavas regard her as the mother Lakshmi.

Mahamaya

She is the deity who breaks the illusion's uphold. Maya is created and destroyed by her. Yogmaya governs her, but she is junior to YogMaya and senior to Maya. She appears as seven mothers to defeat the dark powers of Shumbha and Nishumbha, Chamunda being one of them. She could develop her physical strength, fitness, and satvik qualities while reducing her rage, envy, and ego. Vaishnavas regard her as Lakshmi, while Shaivas regard her as a sort of Parvati.

Maya

She is the one who deceives living beings and transports them to the realm of fantasy. She supports greed, anger, and arrogance. It is believed that her power is strongest during the Kali Yuga.
